ToolFreeKit (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://toolfreekit.com/ (the “Site”). ToolFreeKit is run by its founders, Nurul Absar, Sumaiya Akter, and Nasrin Akter, from Bangladesh. 1. Your Files and Text Stay on Your Device
ToolFreeKit’s tools are built with React and run in your web browser. When you add a file or type text into a tool, it is processed on your own device. We do not send your files or text to our servers, and we cannot see, store, or access them. Because processing happens locally, results depend on your own device and browser, and closing the page may erase your results, so please save them before leaving.
2. Information We Collect
- Usage data (automatic): Through Google Analytics and our server logs, we collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring page, approximate location, and date and time of visit. Google Analytics collects data only after you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner.
- Contact information: If you email us or use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can reply. Form submissions are stored in our website’s admin area and sent to our email inbox.
- Security data: We use a security plugin (Wordfence) to protect the Site. It may process IP addresses, browser information, and requested pages on our own server to detect and block malicious activity, spam, and unauthorized login attempts. We process this data based on our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure.
- Your cookie choice: When you use the cookie banner, we store your choice in a cookie on your device (wpconsent_preferences) for up to 180 days, so we remember it.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect the content of the files or text you process in our tools.
3. How We Use Information
We use this information to operate and improve the Site, understand which tools are useful, keep the Site secure, respond to messages, and if we show ads, display advertising that helps keep our tools free.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners use them to remember your choices, measure traffic, and, if we show ads, to serve them. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose your preferences. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings button on the Site, and you can also control cookies through your browser settings. 5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. It uses cookies and may collect your IP address and usage data. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in our cookie banner. It does not collect the files or text you process in our tools. 6. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may use Google AdSense and similar advertising services to display ads on the Site. When ads are shown, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.

7. Affiliate Links
Some links on the Site (such as in blog posts) may be affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate partners may use their own cookies, which are governed by their privacy policies.
8. Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share limited data only with service providers who help us run the Site (such as Google for analytics and advertising, our hosting provider, and our security tools), when required by law, or to protect our rights and security. Note that advertising partners using cookies may count as “sharing” for targeted advertising under some laws. See your choices in Sections 4, 6, and 11.
9. Data Retention
We keep contact form messages for up to 90 days after we have finished responding, then delete them. Analytics data is kept for 14 months, which is the retention period set in Google Analytics. Your cookie choice is stored for up to 180 days. Server logs kept by our hosting provider and security logs kept by our security plugin are stored only for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
10. Security and International Transfers
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We are based in Bangladesh, and our service providers, including Google, may process data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct or delete it
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time (for example, through the cookie settings button on the Site)
- Opt out of targeted advertising or the “sharing” of personal information
- Complain to your local data protection authority
Because we hold very little personal data (mainly analytics data and contact messages), we may not be able to identify you in it. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
